Job summary

The position is responsible for providing clerical, administrative, and technical administrative support to one or more business units or clients within Clinical Operations. Provides administrative and customer support services with supervision, through use of standard guidelines, processes, and procedures while maintaining strict confidentiality of information at all times. Draws from and applies industry knowledge, skills, and experience to support and ensure success across the company. Drives efficiencies through data entry coordination and quality control checks with a focus on content integrity, relevance, and accuracy. Interacts daily with general employee population through written, phone and chat communications.

Job responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of clinical data and processes.

• Liaises and partners with business units and other functional areas to support and ensure data quality compliance with company requirements, study procedures and relevant guidelines.

• Provides accurate and timely support services for data tracking, data entry, verification and data quality with a high degree of accuracy and customer satisfaction, balancing business operating needs.

• Identifies any technical system and data issues encountered and routes appropriately.

• Assists with other data system needs, team projects and initiatives as assigned.

• Assists with preparation and maintenance of end-user templates, reference tools and other documents.

• Responds in a timely manner to employee inquiries and questions. Escalates questions as appropriate.

• Attends meetings and performs relevant action items as required.

• Manages and protects sensitive & confidential information.

• Manages priorities and effectively adjusts based on volume and business necessity; engaging with management for guidance or approval. Maintains overall awareness in the field of clinical research by completing all necessary and assigned training.

• Responsible for performing activities in compliance with applicable Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.

• Demonstrates working knowledge of best practices, employment laws, and developing technologies to drive continuous improvement and compliance in changing landscape.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• College Degree in Business or Associate Degree with data entry or administrative experience.

• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with a team-oriented approach.

• Flexibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks to meet competing deadlines and deliver high quality work in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to operate independently with some supervision required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong customer services skills whilst maintaining confidentiality, ability to interact and build relationships to balance employee needs with business requirements.

• Behaves in Ethical and Compliant manner and encourages others to do the same.

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, internal systems, email and Internet are necessary
