At Labcorp in Mechelen we are looking for an temporaryRegulatory Associate Logistics to support our global Quality team for the upcoming months.

The position requires extensive contact with couriers and internal departments (globally) at Covance.

At first, you will be 20% of your time working on administrative tasks and 80% of your time more physical work on the workfloor, making sure all shipments can take place. You make sure that all the packages are made and put on the pallets, so they can leave with the couriers. On the administrative side, you take care of the follow-up on the orders and making sure all the data is logged correctly.

After some time, the tasks will shift more to an administrative position.

Involvement required for the implementation of strategic operational projects under the Manager lead.

Your responsibilities as a Regulatory Associate Logistics include:

  • Manage the Request for Approval shipping documents process with CROs/Affiliates and Brokers
  • Coordinate with external party in order to send out kits supplies within the expected timelines and according to KRD (Kits Receive Date)
  • Dedicated follow-up on the Approval Request
  • Maintain the shipping instructions in REALM
  • Review the daily upload file and determine actions to take
  • Provide support for any regulatory question
  • Document all process and service failures, resolve, and escalate to management when appropriate resolution is incomplete.
  • Assist in the analysis phase and lead implementation of global best practices for processes and procedures.
  • Metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPI's): Providing timely and precise departmental metrics and KPI's, internal and external.
  • Other duties as assigned by Logistics Workflow lead and/or management
Education/Qualifications:
  • Professional Bachelor or equivalent through experience within logistics or supply chain
Experience:
  • 2 years of experience in Customer service and/or Logistics
  • Proven experience in an administrative support position
  • 2 years international business experience and a ny further Specialization/Certification within the Supply Chain/Logistics field is seen as an advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills : independent worker, confidentiality, flexible attitude, helpful, co-operative, customer friendly, creative, stress-resistant, problem solving and pro-active
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, any other language is a plus!
