Biometrics Delivery Manager homebased EMEA:

Main duties:
  • Serve and Partner as a Biometrics Oversight representative on portfolios of studies and also on standalone work
  • Support and facilitate meetings with Clients and develop exceptional working relationships with Client companies
  • In collaboration with the client and functional leads, establish and communicate Client specific Biometrics requirements - including but not limited to standards, KPI, processes, training
  • Provide Biometrics project management expertise to client portfolios or standalone studies dependant on need
  • Communicate on a regular basis with assigned Clients regarding portfolio status, performance metrics, developing pipeline
  • Ensure all relevant personnel are kept informed of decisions or issues that may affect the portfolio performance
  • Liaise with Quality Assurance regarding regulatory compliance of study conduct and Client audits for portfolio
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with the Alliance managers and functional leaders to ensure consistency in approach, ongoing cooperation and teamwork, and regular discussion regarding process improvements
  • Interact with senior leadership across disciplines at a global level
  • Build an open and communicative environment in which concerns can be raised and where the input of all is evidently valued
  • Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills, a proactive approach and the ability to make sound decisions on a regular basis and to communicate these clearly
Education/Qualifications:
  • BS or BSc in Science, Medical, or related field
  • Knowledge/experience with drug development
  • Knowledge/experience clinical research preferred
Experience:
  • Previous CRO experience including at least 2 years of project management responsibility in a non-clinical monitoring setting
  • Strong understanding of data flow in clinical trials
  • Experience in managing projects in a multi-office environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities; utilize resources effectively
  • Financial awareness and ability to actively manage financial tracking systems
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire effective teamwork and motivate staff within a matrix system
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and to encourage team members to seek solutions
  • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to negotiate and liaise with Clients in a professional manner
  • Good computer skills with ability to understand and assess technology alternatives and implication for current processes
