My client is seeking an experienced clinical research professional who possesses a strong background in a scientific field and is knowledgeable about clinical research from perspectives of patients, sponsors, investigators, and coordinators. In addition, this individual is well-versed in effective use and implementation of clinical research methodologies, enabling technologies, and platforms.   

This position is remote, and a successful candidate will possess a willingness and desire to work independently without significant supervision. Additionally, this position will require travel – approximately 25%. ABOUT THE JOB:

In this role as a Clinical Study Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing clinical research planning, start up, conduct, and close-out. You will lead the multifunctional study management team responsible for flawless execution of ********* clinical studies. You will also develop a project plan and defining operational guidelines for each study; managing each study per project plan, including timelines and budget. You will develop, track, and report study specific KPIs for each study.

In this role as a Clinical Study Manager, you will also organize and manage internal team meetings, study-specific meetings, and meetings with sponsors/vendors/partners as applicable and deliver all study-related information to them. You will participate in the selection, training, and evaluation of personnel to ensure efficient operation and also provide mentorship and career development of the assigned personnel. 

 

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

We are looking for a strong communicator and effective problem solver with and exceptional ability to work as part of a team and to multitask effectively. You should have extensive clinical research knowledge and cross-functional understanding of clinical research methodology. At least 5 years of clinical research experience is required. You must also have highly developed leadership skills and the ability to successfully manager conflicting priorities and unexpected situations. You should ideally have a Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or healthcare-related field. If you have CRO or Sponsor experience, that’s a plus!
