IQVIA Hospital Pharmacy Audit (HPA) is a product that gives manufacturers detailed data insights into how and where their products are prescribed from hospital settings. Increasingly, specialist prescribers in hospitals are the starting point for new treatments, and getting the right product to the right hospital means patients can get those revolutionary treatments quicker. Hospital Pharmacy Audit (HPA) provides the insight for clients to know where to focus efforts, and the context to support the right approach.

Role Summary

The role of the Associate Product Manager is to implement a comprehensive offering development and data asset acquisition plan for the HPA product.

The Associate Product Manager will work closely with several teams; the Supplier Services team to ensure we are sourcing relevant hospital data needed to build HPA, the Client Service team to ensure that client needs are heard and built into the product roadmap, and the Technical Development and Data Production teams to build out and develop the infrastructure used to create the HPA product.

The Associate Product Manager will work within the UK Product Management Team, who look after a portfolio of market intelligence products, and will also be involved in supporting other products, services, and strategic initiatives alongside the wider UK Product Management Team.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Own and deliver an offering development roadmap for HPA in the UK to ensure our data and consulting offerings remain relevant and competitive in the evolving market, whilst enhancing our secondary care data business
  • Work with our Supplier Service team and other members of the Product Team to ensure we are evolving our data sourcing to keep pace with the evolving market
  • Work cross functionally to drive speed and efficiency from the utilization of new strategic technical architecture to process hospital data and deliver HPA to clients
  • Be the product champion for HPA internally within IQVIA and externally with clients to ensure that IQVIA is recognised as a market leader in hospital data services, identifying opportunities for thought leadership generation, and developing IQVIA expertise in this area
  • Work with Marketing Managers to develop materials and input to marketing activities to promote and sell UK hospital data offerings
  • Facilitate sessions at the customer advisory boards for HPA data services to understand the needs of customers and continue the evolution of the service.

 Education, skills and experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Have an understanding and experience of the use of  proprietary and open pharmaceutical and NHS data, relating to the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare sector
  • Marketing/Product Management or other relevant experience in developing or delivering services for pharmaceutical customers
  • Working knowledge of information governance and related laws and procedures with the holding and use of healthcare and patient data
  • Experience and understanding of the Agile approach to project management
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven project management and planning capabilities
  • Proven ability to drive activity within cross-functional team-working
