Statistical Programming Manager
Permanent Role - Can be Remote in EU/UK
Umbilical Life is supporting a key client to source a Programming Manager for a exciting CRO to provide leadership for the programming teams and oversight of clinical trials.
Accountable for:
• Acts as an expert representing department or programming function on departmental initiatives providing input and influencing groups outside of own discipline.
• Strong all-round technical competency in key areas of project delivery.
• Providing motivational and decisive management to the Programming teams with a structured management approach.
• Defining and implementing effective resourcing and training strategies ensuring SAS Programming studies are effectively resourced and managed.
• Supporting to expand business scope and opportunities.
• In coordination with the management, contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the organization.
• Internally and/or externally recognised as a technical expert in their area of specialism and can apply this expertise effectively.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience within programming role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
• Strong SAS® programming skills, macros, SAS/GRAPH, and SAS/STAT or equivalent.
• Knowledge of clinical trials, ICH Statistical and reporting guidelines and GCP.
• Experience in a programming management role directing statistical programming disciplines, preferably with a CRO industry background.
• Strong operational expertise to provide appropriate direction and oversight of processes and disciplines.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong team focus, focussed on positive engagement and collaboration.
• Ability to work and lead in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
• Good organisational skills across individual projects, managing own and team workloads. Ability to independently and effectively organise, manage and complete multiple assignments with challenging timelines.
