Our client is a small sized internationally established Pharmaceutical company that focuses on the development, in-licensing and marketing of prescription products for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. A new opportunity exists for a Training Manager to build capability and confidence in Key Account Manager's on customer access, market access and territory management. This will include coordinating and taking part in the delivery of the ITC's, ensuring a consistent approach is taken whilst making assessments and recommendations for participants, ensuring that their training plans are updated by their manager as appropriate. You will also develop an annual training plan for the sales team by determining training through a training needs analysis (TNA) with input obtained from on the job observations, reviewing sales results reports and gaining feedback from the Business Managers.

Experience required for the role includes:

  • Several years in a sales training role within pharmaceuticals or a related market
  • Development and delivery of training for individuals, groups and teams, including one off delivery and ongoing programmes of work
  • Identification of training needs and creating training plans that support overall business plans, obtaining stakeholder buy in for the training plans and measuring return on investment
  • Research and co-ordination of external training providers
