Commercial Manager - Specialist Female Health - West London

Our client is a European innovation-driven speciality pharmaceutical company with products distributed in more than 100 countries worldwide. The Women's Health Division is dedicated to the development and commercialisation of innovative drugs for women's reproductive medicine. The company is one of very few in the world to offer a comprehensive portfolio of products for gynaecological conditions.

In this head office based role, you will report to the Business Unit Director and role you will identify, create, develop and service existing and new customer accounts for their generic pharmaceuticals business in the UK and Ireland with regional and national full and short line wholesalers, key pharmacy chains, pharmacy buying groups and independent and national superstore pharmacy chains.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiate contracts with key customers
  • Assist the Senior Management Team in business development for the UK market including new product identification
  • Manage stock flow and supply to customers
  • Communicate with existing and potential accounts on a regular basis regarding new product introductions to ensure brands are stocked at adequate levels to service demand
  • Develop a close working relationship with all key members of staff within Supply chain, Business Development, Finance and Senior Management
  • First point of contact for Wholesaler and Multiple retail pharmacy purchasers

Your suitability for the role will be defined by your:

  • Previous Key Account Management role in secondary/tertiary care
  • ABPI Qualified
  • Understands the customers, buyers, commercial strategy and nature of role applied for
  • This is a sales/influencing/delivery role rather than an activity focused role
  • Confident, quick thinking, responsive and solution oriented
  • Flexibility-collaborative and adaptable approach
