Regional Business Manager - Dermatology - South UK

Our client is a rapidly growing UK based pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturer. They specialise in bringing to market a range of quality, cost effective products that meet the challenges of modern day healthcare delivery. Innovation is integral to how they operate, and as such they are making significant investments into research and development to develop clinically effective and affordable medicines.

With a vast pipeline of products spanning various therapy areas this is an exciting time to join a winning team.

They are looking to appoint a talented first line sales manager for a team of Account Executives and a Health Care Development Executive.

In this role you will have full autonomy of your region, planning and organising your team's success through interaction with key customers, to include GP's, Pharmacists (IP/practice based/retail), ANP's, PCN's, CCG's and STP's.

Key responsibilities:

  • Team performance, striving to exceed agreed sales and market share targets
  • Communicate the sales force strategy and objectives to the team and translate it into regional implementation plans to achieve the desired targets
  • Lead, motivate, direct, develop, train and coach the sales team to deliver performance targets
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of team selling skills and product knowledge

Key candidate Requirements:

  • Leading people and personal examples of working with a variety of customers including CCG/STP/PCN leads, GPs, Nurses and Pharmacists to deliver sales impact whilst taking responsibility for building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Experience of selling Dermatology/Branded generic products is advantageous but not essential
  • Access to key NHS Stakeholders/influencers at PCN's, CCG / STP's levels
  • Experience and capability of delivering against company sales strategy
  • Excellent planning and organising ability
  • The ability to diagnose market trends and data to identify growth opportunities
  • Highly motivated, influential, and able to use own initiative to achieve targets

They are seeking a passionate and tenacious player/manager who has a real hunger to succeed, possessing strong commercial/entrepreneurial acumen with an aim to increasing sales performance across the region.

You will have first class leadership, coaching, sales skills, strong business insights, commercial awareness, and ideally existing key NHS stakeholder relationships within the region.

The position comes with a very attractive basic salary, bonus and car allowance.
