Account Director - take part in growing the division

My client is a global healthcare communications agency with offices in the UK and the US, specializing in medical strategy and communications, marketing, and advertising services for complex diseases.

This is an exciting role to work closely with senior consultants in business development activity and proposals, and be coached on strategic thinking; in addition, the role is to provide high-quality service to new clients as the client-relationship owner and effectively direct project and account management.

This is a good opportunity for someone who is ready for a step up as this role will naturally lead you towards a Client Services Lead role where you will be taking part in developing and growing a team, you will have input in the overall growth of the company.

You are someone who can work independently, you enjoy challenging yourself and others to be better than the time before. You will have the ultimate responsibility for overall account performance, financial performance, and growth. You will lead specific new business activities for new clients and therapy areas and when you start growing your team you will be managing and developing line reports as well (mentor as required).

This role is in London and you will be expected to come to the office 1-2 a week.

There is a good remuneration package, bonus, holiday (25 days + bank holiday + birthday off and 3 days off on Christmas).

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years' direct experience within a full-service medical communications company
• Line management ability (not necessarily experience) and mentorship of team members
• Ability to work autonomously and run year-on-year medical communications accounts
