Covid-19 Therapeutics Key Account Manager - Respiratory - West of England/ Wales

As the COVID-19 Therapeutics Key Account Manager you will be responsible for delivering uptake of a new treatment for COVID-19 through building trust and relationships with all relevant stakeholders across multiple care setting.

As such, your core responsibilities will be to:

  • Drive uptake in key COVID-19 prescribing hubs
  • Build trust and relationships with all the relevant stakeholders across multiple care settings to develop areas of mutual interest (Respiratory, Infectious Diseases and Accident and Emergency)
  • Understand the impact of individual customers and their interdependencies and utilise this knowledge to drive appropriate actions to deliver on the account plan
  • Support networks with implementation of the care pathway, providing appropriate solutions to identified barriers to patient access to deliver value to the patient and customer
  • Clearly communicate your COVID treatment data to customers, articulating the benefits for patients, and system/NHS benefits where appropriate
  • Develop and mobilize External Expert (EE) endorsement and positive opinion to build advocacy amongst other EEs across multiple accounts
  • Embrace a truly multichannel approach to engaging with EEs utilising virtual meetings, emails and webinars to build EE advocacy

Capabilities required:

  • NHS knowledge and understanding of specialised commissioning and key policies
  • New product launch experience
  • Ideally experience working in a specialised disease area with preferably experience with working with either Respiratory, Infectious Diseases or Accident and Emergency external experts
  • ABPI qualified with Secondary care field sales experience
  • Proven ability to work across boundaries with highly specialised external experts and internal stakeholders
  • Expertise and demonstrated skills in account management
  • Project Management skills, including the ability to implement, monitor and review projects
