Job Description

The Vice President will ensure the satisfactory management of Global Data Management Operations
worldwide in a manner consistent with Corporate and Department strategy and goals. The Vice President
will manage Data Management staff across defined worldwide locations and offices and is responsible for
ensuring adequate number and competency of staff to meet the business needs of GDO.

The Vice President guides training, career development, line management processes and ensures Core Value Principles within Data Management. In addition, the Vice President liaises with counterparts in Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, Clinical Database Programming, Medical Writing Services and other CRS functional groups to continually assess and improve cross-departmental operational processes and GDO quality.

The Vice President will promote and participate in the development and coordination of global strategic,
technical, and operational initiatives and works with counterparts in CRS to update, develop and implement
harmonized Parexel WW SOPs and a harmonized approach to Data Management at the global and regional level.

The Vice President will actively seek and follow through on Data Management stand-alone sales opportunities through internal and external leads and serve as technical resource for proposal preparation, project planning and strategic sales presentations for stand-alone and complex Data Management projects/partnership agreements.

The Vice President will also provide support to Business Development and participate in client presentations to provide general and/or client specific overviews of Parexel Data Management capabilities.

The Vice President will develop goals for Data Management to continually enhance productivity and quality and actively contribute to the strategic decision-making process and impetus to achieve the corporate goals as part of the worldwide CRS management team.Qualifications

The Vice President, Clinical Data Management position at Parexel requires a diverse skill set across three main
categories: Leadership, Personnel Management, and Business Operations.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives within Parexel
• Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis cross-functionally in business problem solving
and process improvement development
• Ability to make appropriate decisions in ambiguous situations

willingness to participate in conference presentations)

• Understanding of GDO tasks, specifically within Data Management, regulatory requirements, and data
standards

Knowledge and Experience:
• Substantial work experience in similar position (> 10 years), with expertise in area of Data
Management (or related discipline) and strategic planning, development, and implementation
• Significant experience in leading project and program teams, including previous line management
experience with proven team success
• Significant experience in designing organization functions, building out teams and departments
• Excellent understanding of cross functional activities in the clinical data operations value chain
• Demonstrated and comprehensive patient and customer service focus
• Robust knowledge of ICH-GCP Guidelines, local regulatory requirements and Parexel SOPs and
study specific procedures
• Personal ethical integrity and commitment to improving the outcomes of patients

Education:
• Bachelor's degree preferably in a science or industry-related discipline or equivalent experience
