Barrington James are excited to post on behalf of one of our close clients. This company are a mid-sized CRO and are expanding their Clinical Operations team due to a recent promotion that has created an opening. Here, you will have the chance to lead and further build out a therapeutically aligned department depending on your existing experience. As the company continues to grow rapidly, there will be further opportunities to climb the ladder towards executive level.

Key Responsibilities

  • The AD is a hybrid role consisting of 50% direct, hands-on project management responsibilities and 50% line management responsibilities.
  • The AD will lead a small team of Project Managers and provide oversight and direction for their full project life cycle support to all assigned projects.
  • Manage resource and workload allocation.
  • Ensure competence is maintained in line with current portfolio requirements.
  • The Associate Director Project Management will be responsible for training, mentoring and line managing both established and new Project Managers
  • Acting as the main point of contact for sponsor, imaging centres, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle from start-up through close out.
  • Operational sign-off for study or change order budgets and review/approval of Statement of Work before contract execution.
  • Revenue forecasting, milestone and invoice tracking and coordinating budget updates.
  • Escalating issues to management, including delivery related risks, as appropriate and leading on timely resolution of CAPAs.
  • Identify unusual or significant problems encountered during the course of a clinical trial and proposes strategies for preventing or correcting significant problems.
  • Meeting project management metrics including quality, compliance, KPI and revenue objectives.
  • Ensuring project(s) audit/inspection readiness at all time.

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in life science-related degree
  • 5+ years Project Management experience
