Regional Healthcare Outcomes Manager - Dermatology - Midlands & Wales

Our client is a global organisation with a rich history and heritage of over 110 years expertise in developing innovative care solutions and holistic programmes. They pride themselves on focusing on a patient and people centric culture

They now seek a Regional Healthcare Outcomes Manager at the location shown who will deliver agreed local market access objectives across their portfolio by developing relationships with key decision makers, payers and organisations that influence prescribing decisions, in order to ensure access and funding key brands.

Key customers include medicines management personnel, high cost drugs leads, commissioners, formulary/prescribing committee members and private dermatology providers.

It will be your responsibility to maximise the performance of the field teams through appropriate learning coaching and interventions.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Achieve targets against agreed market access objectives
  • Develop and implement a regional access business plan
  • Develop and maintain a network of key regional and local NHS stakeholders who influence prescribing
  • Work with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure the annual business plans reflect the needs of the NHS and the field teams
Experience/skills Required:

  • Experience of building solid partnership with stakeholders involved in decision making process within health care for patient access
  • Able to build and manage complex relationships to gain results
  • Ability to interact effectively and influence all levels of internal and external personnel
  • Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the UK NHS
  • Strong team player both in terms of leading and being part of a team
  • Previous experience of working with biologics or high cost specialist medicines
  • Worked in the NHS or as an HDM (or equivalent) in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Understanding of how high cost drugs are funded within the NHS
