Job Details
Engineering Technician @ Top Biotechnology Company
The purpose of the role is to continuously deliver consistent maintenance, calibration and carry out repairs for equipment to the required client schedule. This will be done in compliance with environmental, health & safety and GMP standards. Finally, as an engineering technician you will be responsible for supervising external contractors to make sure they comply with client SOP’s.
This role is for a leading Biotechnology / Biopharmaceutical company with over 15,000 employees and facilities in every continent. They are well known for having incredible career progression opportunities as well as having an amazing culture and team spirit.
Responsibilities:
- Equipment PPM and weekly repairs completed as required
- Minimum down time
- Ensure equipment is safe to use and compliant with GMP and EHS guidelines
- Take responsibility over tasks
- Order spare parts in line with client SOP’s
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Certificate OR Equivalent
- 2 years' experience in related roles
- Participate in a shift pattern and call out Rota
