Quality Auditor / Trainer

 

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

 

 

 

On behalf of my client, we are working with them on a new opportunity for a Quality Auditor/Trainer. 

 

 

 

Reporting to the Director of Quality, the successful candidate for this role will support the Director of Quality in management of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, staff training, conducting internal quality audits, vendor management, good documentation practice, and maintaining supporting documentation/records. An eye for detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team are essential.

 

Responsibilities, Activities and Key Deliverables

The Quality Auditor / Trainer will carry out the following functions:

  • Ensure that new hires are trained on relevant SOPs / induction training required in line with existing training matrices within agreed deadlines
  • Once trained on the software systems in use (Alfresco, JIRA), they will then provide induction training to new hires on these systems, ensuring that staff training records are recorded in line with requirements outlined in training matrices/SOPs
  • Keep role-based training matrices up to date in line with any new additional training requirements
  • Ensure all employees complete required training within agreed deadlines
  • Manage the company’s SOPs in line with best practice, ensuring relevant staff are trained on updated SOPs prior to effective date, and access to out-of-date SOPs is revoked on the effective date of the newer version
  • Ensure that historical training records, SOPs, etc. are available to support future client/regulatory audits or queries
  • Ensure internal audits and vendor audits are conducted and documented in line with preapproved internal and vendor audit schedules
  • Support the Director of Quality in addressing client audit or regulatory inspection findings satisfactorily by agreed deadlines, which may include writing new SOPs/updating existing SOPs and ensuring required staff are trained on them

Job Specific Qualifications & Experience

Experience

  • Must have a minimum of a BSc Degree in Quality Management or related field
  • Must have education / previous experience in the field of Quality Management, ISO 9001 Quality Auditing and/or ISO 27001 Cybersecurity Auditing, Vendor Management, Training Management, or other related discipline
  • Previous experience of SOP management, training, and/or quality auditing in ISO 9001 environments and Good Documentation Practice, preferably in a software company
  • Previous experience of managing a QMS or conducting quality, process, or cybersecurity audits in a regulated industry would also be beneficial

Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and auditing requirements
  • Tech-savvy, with good working knowledge of various web browsers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of revision control systems / SOP Management software would be beneficial
