Principal Statistician – Innovative Pharma – Neuroscience - Greater London

We have partnered with a renowned global pharma, who are looking for exceptional Principal Statisticians to join their pioneering and innovative team with primary focus within neuroscience.

In this role you will provide statistical services including analysis, interpretation, design, and reporting or communication of data evidence for research, development, and/or marketed product needs within the company.

Desirable Experience:

  • Proven experience providing statistical services including analysis, interpretation, design and reporting or communication of data evidence.
  • Knowledge of experimental design, modelling, analysis planning, execution, interpretation, and statistical communications
  • Established track record of problem-solving and troubleshooting including significant regulatory and decision-making support at a program level.
  • Responsible for the quality and timeliness of project deliverables.
  • Demonstrated thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical research and development strategies and execution.
  • Lead process improvement or standards development initiatives.
  • Identify and implement advanced statistical approaches to handle complex project/program related features.
  • Build and manage cross-functional partnerships with internal colleagues and with external partners

How will you be a success?

  • Provide advanced data analytic expertise with Neuroscience
  • Effectively use computation tools for study, experiment or trial design
  • Apply high quality statistical methodology with a proven understanding of the infectious disease/scientific/functional area
  • Provides critical input to the statistical lead or team in optimizing study or trial designs

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or MSc in Statistics / Similar field
  • Basic knowledge of SAS or R programming.
  • Experience of clinical trial study design
