Job Details

My client is a Reading-based growing biotechnology start-up, commercialising an exciting and cutting-edge discovery pipeline in drug development which will make a significant difference to, not only patients but also companies who are exploring Ophthalmic Technologies through the clinical trials process.

To do this, they need an experienced, confident and proactive B2B sales professional from a strong scientific/CRO sales background to build awareness of their game changing services to more companies. The technology sells itself to an extent, the key to success in the role is to generate the opportunity for the Clinical Trials Director to highlight the technical aspects and potential for this award winning product.

You will be responsible for connecting and building relationships with Senior and C-Suite scientific professionals with a view to arrange a meeting to discuss how the company’s technology can vastly abbreviate traditional clinical trials timelines.

You must be prepared to lead by example and pick up the phone  to prospective clients as this is where a majority of business is generated. The company is growing and this opportunity has the exciting potential to be at the start of something which is already proving to be popular and therefore have the opportunity to grow and progress as the company does.

Essential Skills

Minimum of three years of B2B sales in a Scientific/CRO related context and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding expectations and targets.

A confident individual who ‘knows what they know’ and is not afraid to identify and pursue their own personal development, growth and learning.
