Company Overview

My client is a leading pharmaceutical company, at the forefront of research and innovation. They are a global, science-led and patient-focused company that focuses on the discovery, development and commercialisation of medicines, from generic to highly niche areas of the market.

Role Responsibilities

• My client is looking for a Global Forecasting Leader, to work with their early/late phase product portfolio
• The Global Forecasting Leader would act as a critical business partner with the brand team, producing forecasts and consulting with the team on how to manage risks and opportunities for the business
• Responsible for proactively identifying brand risks and opportunities across the portfolio.
• You would manage forecasting on a global level, working within 8 different markets
• The Forecasting Leader would partner with the global market access, pricing, finance, sales, medical and marketing teams
• You would also be responsible for championing the use of local customer insight in strategic and resourcing decisions across the business
• Reporting directly to the Senior Director Forecasting for a world leading pharma company

Role Requirements 

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
• Advanced degree preferred (e.g., PhD / MBA / Masters, i.e. Statistics/Decision Sciences)
• Solid analytical experience, gained in Health Care/Pharma Industry including experience in product forecasting
• In-depth knowledge of forecasting techniques and use of different forecast models and approaches
• Excellent financial modelling and forecasting skills, strong market research and analytical expertise.
• Confidence to deliver presentations to senior leadership, i.e. VP/CEO level stakeholders
