Short Term Contract – Senior Finance Controller

About This Job:

The Senior Finance Controller is client facing and liaises directly with the Finance Director to deliver effective operational financial planning & forecasting. The Senior Finance Controller is responsible for driving accounting, reporting and controlling activities, coordinating different parties involved to ensure timely and accurate financials.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Advanced Excel, SAP-Business 1, and Concur skill
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment
  • Exposure to Audit (both internal and statutory)
  • Income Tax & FBT (working with 3rd party consultant, KPMG), GST/BAS, Cash-flow forecasting, financial modelling & forecasting
  • P&L and Balance Sheet maintenance including reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Line management experience
  • Sound working knowledge and understanding of IFRS
  • Highly effective communicator, both written and verbal

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in systems migration, integration and implementation
  • Experience with SAP-Hana4
  • Flexible, customer focused, and determined attitude

Education/Qualifications:

  • Professionally qualified applicants i.e. CPA, CA
  • Degree education, or equivalent experience
