Clinical Operations - Senior Director – Switzerland

In support of our Biopharmaceutical client, I am recruiting for an experienced Clinical Operations Director to provide leadership, strategic input and also growth to this new department whilst helping to drive the European element of their later stage clinical development pipeline.

Office based in Basel  (with some homebased flexibility) , this broad position will see you in charge of a range of responsibilities including strategic input towards European study plans, vendor selection and management, protocol planning and development,  growing and managing a clinical operations division as well as management of CRO relations and activities.   

To be successful in this role, you will bring experience of having worked in drug development in late stage (Phase IIb – III), enabling you to plan and manage studies global level with colleagues in Europe and the US.

Experience of leadership of project teams / clinical group will be advantageous.

This is a hands-on role within what will initially be a small team; meaning that whilst providing strategic input towards the growth of European operations, you will also be directly involved in the oversight, management, and delivery of the clinical development plans.
