Senior Market Manager - Continence Care. Exciting new opportunity working for a market leading MedTech company.

Role: Senior Market Manager 

Therapy Area: Continence Care

Package: Negotiable basic salary, car, bonus, pension scheme, private health, and other benefits.

Based: Peterborough Head Office - Whilst our UK Head Office is in Peterborough, we do understand that part remote working can be entirely successful. You will be working with stakeholders in the Peterborough office and across the UK, therefore the expectation will be to spend 3 days a week in Peterborough or travelling, depending on the periodic demands of the role, and 2 days a week working from home.

This role will be working on an initial 12 month contract.

This is an exciting new opportunity to work as a Senior Market Manager in Continence Care in a growing global company with a market leading sales and marketing operation in the UK and Ireland. Marketing plays a critical role in the company’s success, ensuring that they have the best products, campaigns, and long-term strategy to effectively meet the needs of customers and consumers.

As Senior Market Manager for Continence Care you will play a key role in the Continence Care Marketing team and be responsible for driving and implementing the strategy for one of the company’s largest and fastest growing product portfolios. You will report to the Head of Continence Care Marketing and be part of a team of 11 talented individuals.

This role will provide you with exposure to the Senior Leadership Team as well as the Global Marketing Team. It is imperative that you demonstrate your passion and commitment to making a difference for people with intimate healthcare needs, whilst living the company values.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and enthusiastic marketer who can take a strategic and operational view of the market and identify growth opportunities. You will possess strong leadership skills, and have qualities including confidence, integrity, and self-awareness, to bring out the best in yourself and others.

In this role you will:

Set and drive the strategy for the Intermittent Self Catheterisation (ISC) portfolio, including all marketing initiatives related to the brand.

Drive market and competitor understanding and tracking performance to generate and share insights, and inputting into forecasting, budgets, and business planning.

Develop and implement campaigns to drive brand awareness and adoption among healthcare professionals and consumers through omni-channel approach.

Collaborate with Consumer Market Manager to set the consumer marketing strategy, and work in partnership with Digital Activation Team to implement it. 

Liaise with and input to local Innovation Manager and Global Product Development and working with the Global Marketing team to influence global initiatives, as representative of the largest market in the company.

Lead on local launch planning and execution and building relationships to effectively collaborate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure success and drive growth.

Develop effective working relationships and become a trusted partner with all levels of the sales teams, convincing and inspiring sales to follow marketing and brand vision. Prepare and present campaigns and materials at national and regional sales events.

The client is the Market Leading MedTech company in the UK providing intimate healthcare products and services operating across Ostomy Care, Continence Care, Urology Care and Wound and Skin Care markets. The business is a global organisation developing and marketing products to hospitals, primary care, wholesalers and retailers as well as directly to consumers (homecare). With a strong record of product and service innovation they work in close partnership with the NHS and healthcare professionals to support and drive the best clinical solutions and services to patients

Qualifications:

BSc/MSc in business, marketing or health sciences or qualified by experience

The Person/Experience:

Extensive experience of working in marketing with a healthcare focus

You will be passionate to make a difference for people with intimate healthcare needs

Ability to manage and build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders

Proven strong strategic and analytical skills

Strong project management skills

Excellent communication skills

You will be a team player, a self-starter, with a ‘can-do’ attitude

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
