The Role

The Project Manager will have a focus on aseptic filling equipment and facilities across our Broadmeadows manufacturing site and provide project management support to the Senior Project Manager and team to ensure that project requirements are implemented to specification, time, quality and within budget. A key initial focus for this role will be the development of a major project to replace an existing line within the facility.

You will be responsible for:
  • Managing small ($100k) to medium ($10mil) projects with accountability for meeting budget and schedule targets.
  • Support the design process, equipment selection and procurement aspects of projects.
  • Coordinating technical feedback to ensure user requirements are captured in the design
  • Assisting in the preparation and approval of Capital Expenditure Proposals.
  • Management and co-ordination of construction, commissioning and validation activities and ensuring quality management systems and procedures are followed.
  • Ensuring projects are managed in a way that creates a safe, healthy and secure workplace for the staff and contractors involved in implementing projects and for end users of the facilities.


To be successful in this role:
  • Tertiary degree in Engineering/Science with experience within a regulated industry with strong knowledge around quality management
  • Proven Project Management skills in the execution of engineering projects
  • Experience with Aseptic Filling is desirable but not essential
  • Bring best practice to managing documentation and ensuring a smooth transition of commissioned equipment through a formal qualification/validation process and into successful operation.
