UK Commercial Operations Manager

Company Overview

My client is an exciting US Biotech company, who focus on developing innovative treatments for treating cancers. Following a recent acquisition / investment for a leading biotech company, my client is looking to expand their presence in the UK with a Commercial Operations Manager. My client is built on a team of scientists, engineers, clinicians, advocates and innovators. 

Role Responsibilities

• My client is looking for a UK Commercial Operations Manager responsible for overseeing all planning, analysis, reporting and follow-up activities
• The UK Commercial Operations Manager will be responsible for providing operational support for the key account management team
• Responsible for commercial, medical and market access projects, promotional materials, and non-promotional materials
• You would manage the UK business planning calendar and processes
• The Commercial Operations Manager would also be responsible for the digital and external communication
• You would also be responsible for Supply and Distribution projects
• Reporting directly to the UK Country Director, this is a highly visible role within a rapidly growing biotech

Role Requirements 

• BSc (or equivalent) in a Life Sciences or Business related field
• Minimum of 3 years of biotech or pharmaceutical experience preferably in project management type role
• ‘Can do attitude’ and demonstrated ability to work independently with a sleeve’s rolled up approach & as a team player across cross functional teams
• A structured approach to project management with proven ability to manage and follow up on multiple complex and routine day-to-day tasks
• Experience in cross cultural working environment with key internal and external stakeholders: at Local, regional and global level
