Job Details
My client is looking for someone very motivated and with the will to join a company with a genuine family mentality. With a strong technical side this opportuniy will give you the chance to challenge yourself.
The Software Engineer will be involved in the Left Ventricular Assistant Device (LVAD) Software System development, within the Software Development Department where you will join talented and dedicated Software Engineers.
Your responsibilities will cover the following:
- Implementation of the requirements for multi-level software (usability, performance, safety, etc.)
- Performing unit, integration, verification and validation tests
- Documentation of the Software Development in regards with the regulation (requirements, specifications, test plans and reports etc.).
- Participate to Software Risk Management (Risk Analysis, FMEA)
Software Design and Development for Class III Medical Devices in respect to internal Software Development Lifecyle Process (IEC 62304, IEC 62366, FDA Guidance).
Background (skill and technical knowledge):
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree / Engineer Degree or higher in Computer Science or related
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns
- Strong skills for design, implementation and testing for Embedded Systems in C/C++, VHDL (FPGA), C#
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, ability to break down problems and drive to resolutions
- Autonomous, Quick learner and force of proposition.
- English (TOEFL, B2 CEFR)
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience or studies related to Embedded Systems
- Experience or studies related to RTOS
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with software configuration management (git, svn)
- Experience in mission-critical field (automotive, aerospace/aircraft, defense, medical).
Nice to have
- Experience in Medical Device Industry
- Experience with Cybersecurity
Necessary trainings for the job
- MSC or PhD in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecoms
