Project Engineering Lead

Responsibilities:

• Assists the Engineering Manager and project team in strategic site development as well as the daily activities of the Engineering and projects team to support the development and manufacture of Pharmaceuticals in a regulated environment and maximize the benefit to the company in line with the clients CREDO and the leadership imperatives.
• Supporting the assigned technical and human resources to achieve best-in-class departmental performance in alignment with supervisor
• Ensuring continued alignment with the internal business partners and manage the link into Engineering
• Providing procedural guidance and technical leadership towards dedicated Engineering team members
• Ensuring that quality management systems, risk management methodologies and processes are followed by the project team throughout a project
• Assisting the Engineer Manager in the management of the project team in the development of the technical design, budget plans, control schedules incl. preparation of key project documents

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Biotechnology or Chemical discipline, ideally combined with a project management education
• Sound people management experiences
• Serving as a role model to project team members
• Professional experience in the biopharmaceutical industry as Engineering Lead or Senior Project Manager is highly desired
• Comprehensive knowledge of (c)GMP and GxP regulations as well as technical standards including local Swiss building codes
• Ability to set priorities and to cope with time pressure in a demanding and high-paced environment
• Empathic listener with very good problem-solving skills
• Team player with strong analytical skills who approaches others with respect and is able to build-up trustworthy business relationships
• Self-driven person with strong negotiation and communication skills
• Language skills: Fluency in German and English is a must
