This is an excellent opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager to play an important role in driving our organisation towards success.

In this position, you will have the responsibility for content publishing to the Oncacare website, as well as Oncacare accounts on social media channels. Working with marketing and communications colleagues and external agencies, you will help deliver multi-channel marketing programs that build brand awareness, patient engagement, provide a steady flow of sales leads, and measure the return on marketing investments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Focus on patient recruitment through digital strategies.
  • Build patient databases for the company and research sites in the oncology therapeutic area.
  • Demonstrate deep digital expertise and manage and maintain content and content publishing processes for the Oncacare website and other places to the highest standards of excellence.
  • Work with content owners to ensure efficiency in the creation and publication of content on the site.
  • Oversee content governance including content audits to identify and remove out-of-date or underperforming content.
  • Manage external development agencies/vendors on scope, design and delivery (including project management) of technical development projects for digital channels.
  • Launch optimised online advertisements to increase the company brand and patient awareness (directed at Sponsor Clients, Research Sites and Potential Patients).
  • Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.).
  • Creation of email and social media marketing campaigns, including analytics tagging.
  • Collaborate with business managers on execution of strategic campaigns designed to generate demand & patient leads.
  • Guide development of compelling content and messaging, maintaining conversation calendar for social media posts and publish to Oncacare social media accounts.
  • Produce analytics reports to measure performance of digital channels (website and social media accounts), as well as compiling digital metrics for marketing campaigns reports, assessed against goals (ROI and KPI's).
  • Review site analytics to identify opportunities to optimise site visitor experience e.g. SEO/SEM, UI improvements and social media analytics for key insights - prepare business impact dashboards for executive audiences.
  • Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, development and best practices - advise on best practice improvements to work processes and/or digital channels.
  • Provide input for marketing plans, brand positioning and appropriate corporate level projects.

To be successful you will need:
  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Executive or similar role.
  • Experience of B2C social media, Facebook, Twitter, Google and email campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (eg. DART, Atlas).
  • Strong knowledge of web analytic tools (eg. Google Analytics, Net Insight, WebTrends, etc.).
  • Skills and Experience in creative content writing, with an analytical mindset and critical thinking.
  • Strong project management and performance measurement skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives.
  • Solid business acumen, management and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and have excellent written and verbal communication as well as leadership skills.
  • IT literacy, especially HTML (incl. relevant software packages such as Dreamweaver), CSS, Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism or Communications.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but not required.
