An exciting opportunity has been created, for an enthusiastic registered Nurse, Paramedic or ODP to join our team, working as a Resuscitation Practitioner in first-in-human drug trials and other clinical studies involving healthy volunteers and patients.

 

The successful candidate should work well under pressure and have great attention to detail. A generous training package is offered to assist you in acquiring all the skills you need to become a Resuscitation Practitioner and ILS/ALS instructor, enabling you to provide clinical support in medical emergencies. You will provide training for our staff and some external candidates in ILS/ALS and other, study specific emergency / safety training.

 

On dosing Mornings, you will be responsible for cannulating the Patients/Volunteers and in addition be trained to lead drug free plasma donation rounds. 

 

The right candidates will be expected   to   follow   the   RPL training and   examination system and ensure that   they   reach   the   expected high standards of   performance   necessary for the conduct   of   their duties.

 

Applicants must be fluent in English both oral and written. Self-motivation, enthusiasm and the ability to work well in a team.

Please note, this is a 4 day week, freeing you for one day each week in order to fulfil a clinical shift and maintain your registration and clinical acuity. You will be responsible for sourcing and working a clinical shift each week in your own clinical speciality.
