Provides general support to Site Start-Up (SSU) operational and financial processes, data reporting, and metrics. Assists in the conduct of operational and financial functions supporting global SSU operations, potentially encompassing Start-Up activities occurring in pre-award through post-award. Compiles and disseminates reports on SSU business unit performance, Study status, and Investigator/Site status as relevant to Start-Up activities. Enters and extracts data from standard Company information systems. Responds to requests for information, performs other tasks as designated and proactively addresses emerging requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assists in monitoring SSU business unit operational and financial performance indicators by collecting and analyzing data. Creates predefined reports and presentations on performance utilizing standard PC based software, spread sheets, and graphics within established timelines.
  • Produces ad hoc reports as required with limited supervision.
  • Disseminates reports, presentations, and other information to the SSU business unit utilizing electronic mail, information management, and collaboration systems.
  • Reviews, prioritizes, and responds to electronic mail entering Shared Mailboxes.
    Maintains SSU Operations electronic collaboration systems.
  • Participates in meetings as a facilitator, action item recorder, and/or contributor.
  • Supports SSU project planning, resourcing, and requests for proposal processes.
  • Leads tasks in support of larger SSU business unit initiatives.
  • Builds and maintains a strong collaboration network with operations, finance, human resources, and project personnel throughout the Company. Conducts training on operational and financial management tools and processes.
  • May assist with resourcing SSU Project Planning Meetings and other Trusted Process Events.
  • BA/BS in the life sciences, computer science, information technology, or business administration fields or equivalent combination of education and training.
  • Some experience within the CRO industry along with some experience in an SSU or clinical trials environment.
  • Analytical skills, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines while delivering high quality work in a dynamic environment are essential.
  • Presentation, documentation, influencing, and interpersonal skills as well as a team-oriented approach.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, web-based systems, voicemail, Email and Internet are necessary
