This is an International medical communications agency seeking an Account Manager to join their rapidly growing team in their London offices with the benefits of flexible and home working.

The focus of the accounts will be around digital media, with event organisation and project management elements. You will be working with Top 10 pharma clients with lots of variety of therapy and diseases areas.

You will assist with the development of a range of scientific communications materials, efficiently and effectively meeting project timelines and budgets. You will help line manage more junior members of the team, and work with the team on new business opportunities. You will also assist with project plans and have an input into creative campaign ideas.

To be considered for this role you will require previous healthcare communications agency experience as well as living within a commutable distance of London.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with clients, medical experts and KOLs and act as a daily point of contact for the clients
  • Maintain project briefs, to keep track of timelines and manage financial aspects of assigned accounts
  • Mentor junior members of the team and organise regular project status meetings to track project delivery
  • Assist in the development of business development proposals for a range of projects types
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Life science degree
  • Previous medical or healthcare communications agency experience is essential
  • Possess project management, budgeting and organisational skills
  • Work well in a team and have a proactive outlook
  • Computer literacy
