Key Account Manager - Cardiology/Anti-infectives - South West England

Their drugs are distributed across 6 continents for the treatment of pathologies in cardiology, pneumology, inflammation and gastroenterology.

They now seek a talented Key Account Manager to plan and carry out the promotion of their exciting product range to UK Health professionals within the South West Territory.

Current therapy areas of focus are Cardiovascular (Stable Angina) and Specialised Anti-Biotics, so the target audience is Cardiology, AMU, COE, Anti-Infective Hospital HCP's including Pharmacists and policy decision makers/business managers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Utilise available data to prepare and implement a territory business plan, with support from your line manager
  • Agree, implement and regularly review business objectives and personal development plans with line manager
  • Identify and liaise with KOL's and advocates to achieve and maintain formulary status of products
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Develop, maintain and demonstrate high standards of product and disease area knowledge

Candidate requirements:

  • Secondary care KAM experience
  • Experience of working with complex hospital patient protocol and service redesign projects
  • Hospital Formulary application experience and success
  • Virtual/Digital customer engagement experience
  • Proven track record of achievement and improved personal and business performance
  • Confident, quick thinking, responsive, solution oriented with a good positive attitude
  • Strong work ethic and high levels of energy resilience, integrity and honesty
  • Secondary Care Cardiology experience and or Secondary Care Microbiology experience with a network of contacts throughout the SW territory is desirable
