Translational Scientist

We are working with a Client based in Berlin, specialising in Genomic technologies for the control and design of novel therapeutics for Genetic disease.

What you will be doing

• As a Translational Scientist, you will be leading the target discovery, literature research into identifying new biomarkers, working closely with the project leaders to help them strategies projects and bringing new projects into the pipeline.

• Can Identify novel target ideas, reach out to KOL/ academic groups, and digging onto the literature. You will coordinate the efforts of finding new targets.

• being able to communicate with cross-functional teams to lead these experiments. You will be part of the Drug Discovery team. 

Your Profile 

• PhD in life sciences (pharmacology, biology, medical science) 
• Excellent understanding of molecular biology, pathophysiology, and translation into therapeutic applications
• Experience with RNAi (theoretical/practical)
• Background of ID targets in animals, experience with CRISPR-CAS and AAV is preferred but not essential 
• Outward-facing team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Passion for collaborative working and building relationship
