Job Details

Hobson Prior are seeking a successful Senior Medical Writer to join a global leading company on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be remote based. This client has an incredible network of doctors with 5 million members.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Writing, editing, proofreading and quality checking content.
  • Development of educational needs assessments and associated clinical practice gaps to input to IME Grant or proposal submissions.
  • Attending occasional client meetings to plan, scope and discuss educational content.
  • Planning content with the wider team.
  • Working closely with the Design, Account Management and Programme Management team.
  • Potential for travel for international and national medical conferences.
  • Planning content with the wider team.
  • Potential travel to international and national medical conferences (COVID permitting).
  • Ensuring content produced is of the highest quality.
  • Ensuring full compliance with regulator codes.

  • The ability to write clear and concise scientifically accurate copy.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Life Sciences degree (2:1) but ideally will have a Life Sciences PhD.
  • 1-2 years' experience in pharmaceutical, commercial and/or a digital background.
  • A minimum of 2 years writing experience.
  • Awareness of ABPI code of practice.
