Summary of the Position:

We are looking for an Office 365 Administrator to join our Business Systems Group department.

You will ensure the technical components of O365 solutions align with business goals, compliance requirements and current/potential standards. In addition, you will research technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day support, management and maintenance of cloud services, business systems integration and training, coaching and mentoring our employees, and provide first and second line support to our clients and team.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Act as the Office 365 (O365) Subject Matter Expert within the Business responsible for delivering enterprise-sized O365 solutions.
  • Support the Business Analyst and infrastructure team to create a reference architecture for O365.
  • Research and communicate the latest industry trends for O365 solutions that meet Simbec-Orion's Business requirements.
  • Understand and develop artefacts such as Functional Design Documents, Use Cases, User Interface Specifications, Business Process Flows, and/or Testing Scenarios.
  • Understand business requirements to recommend and implement best practices for Simbec-Orion's taxonomy and meta-data model.
  • Resolve technical challenges for O365 by performing routine maintenance tasks such as configuration, patch management and hotfixes for O365 & related applications .
  • Act as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for O365.
  • Support in the development and delivery of user adoption programs, including training curriculum and O365 adoption programs.
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a group or individual settings under the direction of project managers and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

Essential:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with O365 core technologies, such as O365 Web and Desktop applications, including Office, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, PowerApps, Flow, etc.
  • Previous experience of customising SharePoint and Teams using SharePoint Framework
  • Experience in interpreting wireframes, mock-ups, concept maps, site maps, taxonomy schemas, and personas into solutions
  • Experience in supporting end-user training of business systems
  • Experience administering O365, Exchange, Azure Active DirectoryPrevious experience in providing technical and end-user support

Desirable:
  • Computer Science, MIS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Previous experience in Computer System Validation
  • Microsoft Certification such as MCSE, MCSD, MCPD, MCT
  • Previous experience of HTML5, JavaScript and CSS
  • Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Azure CLI)
  • Experience in organising and leading migrations to SharePoint Online and OneDrive from on-premises SharePoint solutions and file shares
  • Experience in generating reports and management of O365 using PowerShell
  • Experience in creating documentation and leading end-user training on Office 365 products and services
  • Knowledge of best practices for governance, data retention, data classification, and auditing
