Barrington James are excited to post a fantastic opportunity for one of our close clients. This company are a NASDAQ-listed biotech that specialise in novel therapies for Oncology indications. After receiving considerable funding this year, they are looking to expand their clinical operations team in Paris. This opportunity is perfect for someone who wants study ownership, stable resources and innovative technologies.

  • Develop study tools for departments and CRA use.
  • Participate in development of Monitoring Plan for each study.
  • Train CRAs and CTAs on study protocol and procedures and ensure they are prepared to train the site staff during the Site Initiation Visit (SIV) and at other times to study-specific industry standards.
  • Liaise with investigators/site coordinators conducting the study as required to insure that CRAs are meeting expectations.
  • Co-monitor as required for sponsored studies to provide coaching and manage performance of CRAs.
  • Support the SML for outsourced studies in conducting Clinical Monitoring Oversight Visits.
  • Oversee the setup of the trial sites; ensuring each site has the appropriate trial materials to conduct the study.
  • Oversee the site activation process for each study.
  • Develop Pre-selection visit and site initiation visit tools, other training tools and training materials in support of the project for assigned CRAs.
  • Review monitoring visits reports for assigned sites in accordance with protocol/SOP requirements and approve after obtaining all modifications if required.
  • Provide support in Developing Informed Consent (ICF) in accordance with Ethic Committee/Competent Authorities expectations.
  • Periodically review data to identify potential issues or inconsistencies that could signal problems with data collection or monitoring.
  • Develop essential documents and complete study monitoring trackers and reports.
  • Propose budget and invoices review and bring support in the monitoring of KPI metrics allocated.
  • Develop and execute a plan to close study sites on completion of the study and perform associated close-out activities.

Required Experience

  • Fluency in French/English
  • Full driving license
  • Ability to review and evaluate clinical data
