For our brandnew lab in South of France we are currently looking for an experienced Bioanalytical Scientist, for the duration of one year. As Bioanalytical Scientist you will be in charge of coordinating and carrying out the full spectrum of activities related to the development and validation of bioanalytical methods according to client requests and within the required timeframes. You will collaborate with stakeholders in Translational Sciences and Early Phase. You will also propose and participate actively to the implementation of all actions needed to improve and develop bioanalytical capabilities. Meticulous record keeping and understanding of Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) are must-haves.

JOB ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, validate and optimize bioanalytical methods by using analytical techniques (ELISA, ECL....).
  • Process, analyze and interpret bioanalytical data.
  • Responsible for finding solutions to problems related to the application of bioanalytical methods.
  • Assist in improving laboratory activity processes (method development, validation and sample analysis).
  • Write and review SOPs related to bioanalytical methodology.
  • Review scientific literature in order to guide the development of bioanalytical methods.
  • Document activities related to the development and validation of bioanalytical methods.
  • Coordinate the resources needed during the development and validation of bioanalytical methods and the subsequent sample analysis and reporting of analytical data.
  • Carry out support tasks to meet the needs of laboratory users.
  • Assist in the training of employees related to research and development, validation, sample processing and record keeping in alignment with GCLP practices.
  • Can perform all biological sample processing and analytical activities.
  • Can supervise the work of bioanalytical technicians.
  • Responsible for performing activities that are in compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Operating Guidelines and performing other duties as assigned by management.
What we're looking for
  • Master's degree in sciences in biology/analysis domain or equivalent
  • 2 or 4 years of relevant work experience in large molecules/ ELISA /ECL would be considered an asset.
  • Advisable experience in regulatory context.
  • Must demonstrate good computer skills especially in the utilization of MicrosoftWord, Excel and analytical software.
  • Good communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
  • English level: Required English proficiency includes being able to communicate verbally on subjects that are frequently specialized and technical, and writing technical reports
