Job Details
At Labcorp Drug Development we're looking for a sponsor-dedicated Study Start-Up Specialist, to be located in Hungary.
As a Start-Up Specialist you will:
- Ensure the successful negotiation and on-going management of clinical trial agreements with investigative sites
- Work cross functionally with Clinical Operations and Project Management in support of timely site start up for the conduct of clinical trials including accurate forecast of contract execution timelines
- Collaborate with the client's LM who will partner with other compliance departments to ensure country specific laws and regulations are followed to minimize risk in clinical trials.
- Communicate and explain legal/ budgetary issues to internal and external parties per department guidelines
- Review and evaluates client requested contract changes and based upon department guidelines escalates deviations as appropriate
- Evaluate priorities and quickly readjusts priorities with the changing needs of business.
- Identifie and proactively raise issues prior to their becoming critical or creates risk.
- Appraise contracts for completeness and accuracy and ensures adherence to department guidelines; corrects documents and files changes to contracts.
- Participate in local study team meetings for the purpose of expediting the contract signing process as directed
- Create and maintain files for each contract
- Track all site interaction in data base in a timely and accurate manner and ensure that status updates are fully descriptive
- Generate ideas and solutions to improve requested contract/budget changes while appropriately partnering with client's LM for feedback and execution.
- Advance consistency, timeliness and completeness of all interactions with site in database.
- Exhibit increasing proficiency in executing documents that are complete and accurate delivered within shorter timeframes
- Exhibit proficiency in managing multiple projects with competing priorities
- Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent.
- Read write and speak fluently in English and Hungarian language
- Familiarity with clinical trial contracts.
- Two or more years relevant experience involving contracts and negotiation
- Understands project management and service delivery.
- Creative problem solver, skilled in risk management
