Job Details
This is a newly created position within the EMEA TA Leadership team due to continued growth.
As Associate Director you will be responsible for managing stakeholder relationships for assigned business function/region as well as the direct line management of 7 resources (Sr. Recruiters and TA Managers).
Responsibilities
Manage and develop a talent acquisition team, through a direct line reporting structure to ensure the provision of high-quality support and consultancy
Establish and cultivate strategic, value add relationships with senior business leaders of the assigned region/function
Create and conduct presentations for business leaders that increase the value of information by incorporating, synthesizing and visualizing data into stories with clear, engaging, influential messaging
Drive and present meaningful metrics to business leaders through regular reviews
Ensure key stakeholders are informed and up to date on progress against key recruitment initiatives
In still a customer-focused, partnership model and approach across the team to ensure delivery of a consistently outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience, maximizing the team’s strengths to achieve high performance
Work with key business stakeholders and TA Team to develop and oversee the execution of recruitment strategies that enable the engagement and hiring of top talent for business-critical roles in a competitive market
Lead initiatives to deploy IQVIA Employee Value Proposition (EVP) across the assigned region in line with global guidelines in order to increase brand awareness and position IQVIA as an Employer of choice
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of business
Elevate team to everyday excellence through coaching, developing and leading through vision and values
Ensure completion of Annual Performance Reviews, Competency Reviews & Individual Develop Plans while providing ongoing feedback
Partner with HR functions/Centres of Excellence (Compensation & Benefits, HR Shared Services) to ensure delivery against strategic business imperatives and deliver solutions to meet business needs
Promote a growth mindset and strategic agility, driving innovation, learning quickly, and pushing for what’s possible near and long term
Experience
8+ years of experience within a Talent Acquisition function as a combination of Recruiter and TA Manager experience
Minimum of 2 years direct line management experience
Experience operating with senior/executive management teams
Skills and abilities
Knowledge of pharmaceutical or B2B business industries is preferred
Strong ability to work in a matrix environment
Demonstrate and provide clear, concise, transparent verbal and written communication when engaging with business leaders, colleagues, team members and external audiences
Strong team management, coaching and counselling skills. Previous experience with remote teams is preferred
Sound knowledge of legislation in the recruitment process
Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality
Customer oriented and result driven: being resilient and demonstrating a “make it happen” mentality is essential to succeed in the role
Ability to work with business stakeholders across multiple geographies
Proven fluency in English
