Business Analyst

Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in the Basel area, is looking for a Business Analyst with a strong background in manufacturing.

This is a contract position, and a fantastic opportunity where you would have the chance to do the Business Analysis for the integration of an Enterprise Recipe Management system with other manufacturing-related systems.

The desired start date for this position is ASAP and the contract will run until the end of June 2022.

Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis for integration of Enterprise Recipe Management system with other manufacturing-related systems
• Understands the information technology (IT) and manufacturing operational technology (OT) integration in the different Roche plants
• Consolidates and visualizes the IT/OT landscape as basis for the discussion with our customers
• Supports our customers in defining their processes and the “to be” model for an E2E accountability assessment
• Acts as an interface between global / local business (customer) functions and global / local IT functions and as a contact point for business leads
• Liaise with DS (Drug Substance) and DP (Drug Product) network to leverage experience made in their IT/OT convergence
• Works within a global squad team to ensure that the final assessment outcome will serve as a base to become network wide

Must Haves:

• Min. 3 years of experience in IT or OT related to the pharmaceutical environment working as a Business Analyst (*****)
• Min. Apprenticeship or any higher education in informatics or engineering with relevant work experience (*****)
• Strong background in manufacturing of drug substances and ideally also drug products (****)
• Experience with MES, LIMS and related ISA95 production systems (***)
• Experience working in a global, virtual team in a complex matrix organization (*)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) is a MUST and German is an advantage (**)
• Understanding of business processes in the manufacturing environment
• Analytical thinking, structured approach to identify potential benefits and structure them into business cases
• Excellent communication skills with different stakeholders
