Position: Logistics Coordinator

Contract type: Fulltime, permanent

Salary: up to 32K/ year (DOE)

Location: Heathrow  or Cambridge ( some flexibility to be home based)

Company information:  A leading global Logistics company specialised in serving life science sector. They have branches in Europe, Asia and head office in the USA. They are currently going through a rapid growing phase, and hence are expanding their operations by opening new branches/offices and have planning to double their headcount by the end of this year.

Some of the day to day responsibilities include:

• Act as the first point of contact for all shipping orders and enquiries and ensure that customer interactions are handled in a pro-active and professional manner at all times.
• Develop and maintain a close relationship with existing and potential clients by understanding needs, providing high levels of accurate and timely communication, ensuring complete satisfaction with the service provided and identifying service level improvements.
• Manage the end-to-end shipment process for various health care products on a worldwide basis.
• Ensure correct and timely completion of all after shipment tasks.
• Planning cost-effective and appropriate route solutions which do not compromise the quality of our service
• Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively from receipt to resolution
• Build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in logistics management
• Customer service experience
• Previous pharma logistics experience is desirable
