Job responsibilities
• Supports teams to be effective financial stewards
• Participates in Site Identification / Feasibility and cross-functional initiatives by working with internal stakeholders.
• Responsible for oversight of their assigned portfolio of projects from a financial, quality and timeline perspective. Monitors team efficiency and adherence to project timelines. Identifies and reports on areas of risk. Provides appropriate prioritization and escalation where required including the management of quality issues.
• May support the analysis and selection of current and proposed preferred provider relationships with sites, vendors or other groups
• Supports the development and maintenance of relevant information libraries and communication materials. May assist with RFI/RFP development and queries from Sponsors, Business Development and project teams
• Establishes and maintains training and guidance materials for assigned area. Develops and implements training programs and resource material for appropriate departmental teams.
• Actively participates in and leads team meetings. Designs presentations and delivers information in a way that allows the audience to understand the information and interact appropriately. Supports leadership in reviewing, approving, and presenting prepared information for project or departmental review meetings.
• May lead teams of subject matter experts in the development and review of guidance material, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Work Instructions (WI) to support new or existing processes.
• Develops and maintains strategic relationships with customers in alignment with assigned projects. May collaborate with business leads for business development, alliance management, contracts and proposals development, project management, and clinical management to achieve project goals. Ensures that individual project targets and client needs are met, services are provided with the highest quality standards, and policies and procedures are followedWhat we're looking for
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Extensive experience in clinical trial delivery including but not limited to; applicable regulations, drug development, & clinical project management
• Experience in managing teams of clinical research employees locally and globally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database applications), email, and internet
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills
• Excellent verbal, written, communication and time management skills
• Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Ability to be flexible, adapt to change, as well as work as part of a team in a matrix environment under close supervision
• Must be flexible around travel and work hours if a business need should arise. Travel up to 25%
