Clinical and Patient Resources Specialist (100%)
(Abingdon, United Kingdom)
In this role you will be primarily responsible for writing, developing and project managing interactive medical educational eLearning programs from inception to launch.
This multifaceted role includes:
- Design, write and create engaging medical educational eLearning programs for a broad range of target audiences from specialists to patients
- Develop excellent relationships with KOL contributors, providing support and encouragement, and firm editorial guidance
- Creative direction of interactive elements including coordinating and carrying out filming of KOL videos for eLearning programs
- Assist colleagues as necessary to provide editorial and writing support for the development of Fast Facts medical handbook series
Qualifications and experience required:
- A life sciences degree or higher
- Minimum of 3 years’ medical writing experience in STM publishing (journals, books or online) or a medical communications agency
- Solid project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize a variety of tasks and meet agreed deadlines
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of clinical medicine
- A passion for effective health communication in print and digital formats
- Experience of the Articulate suite or other similar authoring tools would be a plus
- Confident interacting with specialist authors, contributors, and clients
- Very high command of English
