Scientist with B2B sales experience wanted for a fast growing Contract Research Organisation for the Biotech sector!

My client is a fast growing Contract Research Organisation. with a stable background of more than 50 years in the industry. They are currently seeing rapid growth for their business in the Biotech sector, and as such are looking to expand with an Account Manager for the non-profit organisations in the Nordic countries.

To look after one of their key segments in the Nordic market, they are looking for a young professional with 2-3 years of experience selling B2B services in the biotech sector. You will join on other Account Manager covering the for-profit segment of the Nordics, and as such have a good sparring partner. The company is a trusted partner in providing mammals for testing in research labs, before moving further into clinical stages.

In this role you will assume the account management responsibility of non-profit organisations in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland. These organisations include Academia, research organisations, and others.

About you:
- BSc or MSc in a life science field.
- 2-3 years of experience in B2B sales in the biotech sector, either as a sales representative, Account Manager, or Business Development role.
- Sound understanding of the needs of research organisations, developing drug products in pre-clinical stages
- The drive to be with an expanding organisation
- Fluency in English, and at least one Scandinavian language - German is a plus
- You live in Denmark, or you are willing to relocate

Responsibilities:
- Be the point of contact for clients across the Nordics
- Together with a Subject Matter Expert plan and coordinate client visits and presentations
- Further develop the sales channels to market
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Plan and execute sales strategies in the market

The company has offices in Greater Copenhagen, but also offers complete remote position within Denmark. Some travel is expected, and post-pandemic could be upwards of 50% of the time.
The company will be interviewing continuously, and is looking at having hired before August.
