Working as a Regional Healthcare Account Manager (RHAM) you will report into the Head of Regional. In this role you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive environment for medicines within pre-defined key accounts (which can include CCGs/Health Boards & above CCG/Health Board influencing bodies), including formulary, protocol and guideline inclusion, which lead to an increase in sales. The RHAM plays a key role in the development and implementation of the account plans for these key accounts and supports the embedding of account excellence across the Business Unit. The position plays a key role in determining and monitoring the key tactics and the allocation of resources in the account plans. The RHAM also work closely with the Regional Business Manager to ensure the implementation of the account plans.
Achieving Market and Patient access for agreed brands
Evaluating and delivering business opportunities within each account
Development of account plans, objective setting and implementation
Managing stakeholders, local market shaping and sales performance
Development of advocacy with key internal and external stakeholders that will realise business outcomes in the short, medium, and long term
Embedding Account Excellence within their region
Ensuring compliance of all Governance Framework and ABPI
Responsible for implementing commercial offerings as developed by Commercial Team
The role is accompanied by an excellent package which includes a negotiable basic salary based on experience, pension, healthcare, bonus scheme and company car scheme.
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Full driving licence
Experience of working in a similar industry role as a Strategic/Key Account Manager
Experience of matrix management
Account management expertise
Proven ability of influencing teams
High level emotional intelligence
Demonstrated capability of developing client / partner solutions
Can generate and utilise stakeholder insights
Ability to work strategically and prioritise accordingly
Business management, commercial acumen and financially analytical & conversant
Demonstrable ability to negotiate at business to business level
