National Market Access Manager - Specialist Female Health - UK
Our client is a European innovation-driven speciality pharmaceutical company with products distributed in more than 100 countries worldwide. The Women's Health Division is dedicated to the development and commercialisation of innovative drugs for women's reproductive medicine. The company is one of very few in the world to offer a comprehensive portfolio of products for gynaecological conditions.
They now seek a talented National Market Access Manager who will lead and develop the UK continued market access strategy, tools and tactics in specified CCG areas.
Responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with national bodies and NHS budget holders to present advance budgetary notification on prospective new products or existing product indications, within appropriate time periods
- Taking a lead role in preparing price application dossiers to the Department of Health and Irish equivalent
- Lead Health Technology Appraisals and national clinical guideline workstreams from a commercial perspective (including but not limited to NICE, SMC and AWMSG)
- Responding to unprompted enquiries from health professionals relating to the budget impact of forthcoming new products or new indications
- Responsible for national and regional tenders for UK and Ireland
- Support the new product launch planning process from a Market Access perspective
- Supporting the creation of promotional plans to ensure NHS payer's expectations are included
- Management of National team of Market Access Managers
Candidate requirements:
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Experience in successful delivery of Market Access projects
- Extensive, up to date knowledge of relevant NHS bodies, NHS strategies, structure, funding/patient pathways and process and dynamics affecting product utilisation in the multifunctional hospital environment at a regional level
- Understanding of managed entry of products, APC's, Shared Cared Guidance and Patient Pathways.
- Experience of networking and liaising with NHS organisations
