Job Details

An exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic candidate to join a rapidly growing digital communications team. You will be part of a dedicated team that advises and consults both clients and internal stakeholders on the digital communication strategies available. Working within a healthcare communications agency you will be working across the agency supporting the expert developer and client services teams with pitches, proposals and briefs.

 

You will need to have an understanding of how social media can support pharmaceutical clients, adding value to both existing accounts as well as assist in the pitches to win new business. Understanding of ABPI code of practice is a must as this is a consultancy-based role, you will advise and assist clients and you will be responsible for ensuring all plans are compliant, with regular reviews.

 

Becoming a social media champion for the agency you will maintain up to date knowledge of new technologies, evaluating and assessing how they will be applicable to current and future client projects. You will also be a part of the digital transformation initiative for the agency, using your expert knowledge to run workshops.

 

This role would suit someone who has had exposure to social media within a pharmaceutical healthcare comms agency, this is a strategic and consultative role that requires someone who is able to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing social media projects within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Previously worked in an agency in either the following disciplines: Medical Communications, Healthcare Advertising, Healthcare PR or Healthcare Marketing
  • Ideally, hold a marketing qualification
  • Experienced with both development and execution of social media tactics for healthcare professionals
  • Experience with multichannel marketing strategy and planning
