As an Administration Assisant within the BiopharmCMC (Chemsitry, Manufacturing Controls) team based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire you will have responsibility for administraton throughout the department.

The job responsibilies will include:

  • Responsible for the maintenance of the departmental leave/lieu time/sick records and the update of key administration metrics along withthe maintenance of departmental tracking tools where applicable e.g. new starters / leavers spreadsheet, awards tracker etc
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all aspects of hospitality arrangements for BioPharmCMC, including staff travel and client visits
  • Responsible for the organisation of room bookings, audio-visual equipment, refreshments etc for departmental meetings/events
  • Support in the management of the updating of job descriptions and curriculum vitae's for BioPharmCMC
  • Support in the archiving of study/non study related documentation.
  • Handle internal customer enquiries efficiently
  • General administrative duties such as expense claims, IT requests, filing, general photocopying etc.
Education/Qualifications:
  • GCSE level or equivalent including English and Maths
Experience:
  • Some previous administrative experience essential
  • Computing skills, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft Project)
  • The post holder should possess an excellent telephone manner, an ability to write e-mails and letters to a high clarity and standard, and be able to communicate effectively at all levels with other employees, as well as external Clients, suppliers, etc.
  • The ability to get things done by influencing others (both internal and external)
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of process excellence, tools and activities
