The Client is implementing a new Regulatory Information Management solution

The main goals of the client are to operate more efficiently and provide better service to consumers of the regulatory information.

The goal of the project is to move to product-based operation from the submission-based operation with additional goals:

•    Client Reg team must provide up to date, accurate, overall, searchable information about the developed, registered product.
•    Client Reg Team  must provide product regulatory based product requirements.
•  Product documentation has to be constantly assessed by the global and regional authority requirements.
•        Use overall activity planning, tracking on the complete regulatory activities
•    The main focus of operation has to move to the product related projects from the current organizational unit-based operation.
•    The project management, risk assessment has to be integrated with the Reg projects, QA change projects and PV related change projects.

So the Consultant will have to deliver:

•        methodology how to evaluate, redesign existing process and organization (workshops, documentation, checklist, questionnaire, metrics)
•        methodology how to manage project to grant high quality result meet the schedule
•        methodology how to manage transition changes

• The scope of the business process transformation to-be phase is to:

•        Compare the current operation with strategic goals.
•        Compare the current operation, organizational responsibilities with industry best practice.
•        Identify the elements of the current operation which obstruct to achieve goals.
•        Identify resource-, competency shortage to achieve the goals.
•        Identify the elements of the current operation which need to develop.
•        Develop new operation model (process flow, roles and responsibilities, master data management, information services).
•        Indicate organizational change if it is required to support new operational model.
•        Identify, present the new operation model benefits and the return of the investment.
•        Develop new key performance indicators to measure the new operation.
•        Work out the transition procedure to the new operation.
•        experience with RIM systems
