Hobson Prior currently have an exciting opportunity for a Statistical Methodology Lead to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation on a permanent basis where you will be required to work in Slough.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.


Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be providing oversight on pricing and reimbursement strategies and be lead accountable point contact for all pricing discussions.
  • You will be developing advanced approaches to HTA, including value-based pricing resolutions and commercial discussions with NHS England to improve access to medicines.
  • Engaging with development of global HTA/Health Outcome deliverables and Health Economic models, supporting HTA Leads and Associates in the team to adapt to local needs.
  • Confirming optimal vendor management with external partner agencies to deliver optimal HTA submissions.
  • Developing HTA strategies for the products that will be assessed by NICE, SMC, AWMSG and NCPE and ensuring successful execution of these HTA to enable patient access to medicines.
  • Managing the HTA team of HTA Leads, HTA Associates and Access Clinical Lead, and working them to support HTA strategy and execution.
  • Ensuring there is sufficient resource to enable all planned and future HTAs to occur with optimal outcomes.
  • Create relationships with local Brand Team and global access colleagues.
  • Create relationships with external HTA decision makers and influencers.
  • You will be providing appropriate levels of challenge to local and global team to ensure innovative HTA solutions are developed and risks are mitigated.

Requirements:

  • Educated at a Master's Degree in Health Economics.
  • At least 5 years Health Economics experience, within the Pharmaceutical industry and/or Consultancy.
  • Recent experience of developing Market Access and Pricing strategies and delivering successful HTA submissions.
  • Previous first line management experience.
  • Detailed understanding of HTA and the role of health economics within the NHS and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of economic evaluation concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work alongside and successfully influence local and global internal stakeholders.
  • Relationships with external HTA influencers.
