Covance by Labcorp are currently recruiting a UK Scheduling Manager for our site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The purpose of this role is to develop the scheduling process through the use of internal systems, leading and managing the scheduling team and monitoring the scheduling activity from beginning to end, with the aim of identifying and implementing process changes to continually improve processes and increase efficiencies.

The role will include:
  • Managing a regional team concentrated on the scheduling of in-life procedures
  • Managing and monitoring scheduling of operational workloads and resources
  • Assisting in the identification of processes suitable for harmonization and optimization across the UK operational areas
  • Delivering process improvements to further develop operationally, associated with scheduling and process optimization.
  • Monitoring and reporting resource availability to anticipate conflicts and deficiencies through established operational capacities.
  • Maximising operational capacity by effectively deploying resources across departments / site
  • Other duties as required
Education/Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally hold:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred and/or at least 3 years' experience in Resource Management. Experience/related education can be substituted.
Experience:
  • Requires an individual to have achieved an advanced level of technical expertise in Resource Management scheduling functions and the centralized scheduling application.
  • Previous experience in a management or leadership role would be advantageous
